Glad I had genetic testing done. I found out I had breast cancer in May of 2003. I went to Magee Womens Hospital they recommended genetic testing when they heard I had an uncle on my fathers side died of male breast cancer. I agreed to the testing. I was devastated when I found out I carried BRCA2. But I was able to make better decisions about my treatment. Now I worry that my 2 daughters may carry this. Most times I don't really worry about it. I can only hope they come up with better medical help for them. If anyone would like to talk to me I would be happy to chat. I have only ever met 1 BRCA carrier in the recovery room at the hospital. I NEVER regret having the test done. My Dr. in Pittsburgh said to me " Jackie, now you know the train is going to wreck and you are able to do something about it."

Good luck to all. And may God Bless you too.
